Making Easter presents: A little flower greeting

The flower greeting made of eggshells makes something special on every laid Easter table and lets spring move right in:

For this you need:

  • Egg carton (painted)
  • White eggs
  • Waterproof pencil
  • Flowers

There you go:

  1. To do handicrafts, the eggs are blown out and cleaned, and then the tip is slightly beaten in.
  2. Then you paint faces on the eggs with a waterproof pencil.
  3. Finally, fill in some water and put little flowers into the egg vases. The surprise is ready for Easter!

Thread pattern with Easter motif

For a thread pattern you need:

  • A wooden underlay/tree disc
  • Nails
  • Hammer
  • Wool/Yarn

There you go:

  1. First transfer your motif onto the wood. If you are not so good at freehand drawing, simply cut out a popular Easter motif from paper and trace the outlines.
  2. Then hammer in nails at regular intervals. Make sure that they sit evenly deep.
  3. Then knot the beginning of the thread on a nail and start to stretch it all around the nails. To make the thread pattern more stable, you can put a loop around individual nails.
  4. Now you can tighten the whole outline of the motif once again with the thread. To do this, guide the thread partly along the inside and outside of the nails – this is the only way to get a hold.
  5. Knot the end at the end.

Easter bunnies

These little Easter bunnies hide themselves in the whole flat at Easter: whether on the Easter table, in the Easter basket and flower arrangement or with a safety pin on your Easter outfit. And the best thing about it: They are all individually designed.

You need:

  • Felt
  • Cotton wool
  • Needle
  • Suture

There you go:

  1. Cut out the motif from handicraft felt twice for an Easter bunny.
  2. Embroider the Easter bunny’s face on the front felt.
  3. Then start sewing the two blanks together with a simple backstitch. After each rounding, add some cotton wool until you have rounded the motif with the backstitch.

Funny easter eggs and egg cups

These funny painted Easter eggs and the stylish egg shells really make us go into raptures!

There you go:

  • You can easily make egg shells by putting wooden balls on a ribbon and knotting the ribbon at the end.
  • The Easter eggs can be made into a small animal colony in single steps: For eyes, nose and mouth use a fine waterproof pencil. For penguin and panda you will also need acrylic paint and brushes.

Today there is a lucky egg…

A fortune egg instead of a fortune cookie – that brings double luck and can be made quickly by yourself. Blow out white eggs and put a little piece of paper with a nice saying in the hole.
