Banana Bun: Everyone Loves This Trendy Hairstyle Now

A hairstyle that goes fast and still looks super fancy? Do we… The Banana Bun.

Get out of bed with the perfect haircut? To be honest, it has never happened to either of us – and if it has, then you are definitely not from this world … Luckily, there are a lot of hairstyles with which we can quickly tame the disaster on our head. One of them we see very often on our Instagram feed: the Banana Bun. Rightly so, because it’s sooooo beautiful (and simple)!

Ten years ago, we were wearing super accurate tied jerseys, but now we focus on easy and messy styles. Fortunately, they save us a lot of time in the morning. The Banana Bun is a deep-seated bun that looks messy, but is not just arbitrarily crumpled up. You can also wear it with a parting in the middle or on the side, depending on what you like best.

Banana Bun :That’s how it’s done

  1. Touch up the hairline a little.
  2. Divide the hair into three equal parts.
  3. Tie the middle section together with a thin hair tie deep at the back of the head and pull the hair tie down a little so that a “loose braid” is created.
  4. Now wrap the right hair around the middle braid. Depending on how long your hair is, you can do the whole thing once, twice, three times, … …once, twice, three times.
  5. While you are turning, take the left hair section and turn it into the braid from below as well.
  6. After each twist, you can pin your hair to the back of your head with a hair pin. This is easier than doing it at the end.
  7. You can either hide the tips of your hair under the Hair Banana or wrap them completely around the pinned hair and pin them.

The Banana Bun looks especially beautiful if the hair is a little wavy or curly – for example from the day before. But afterwards you can wavy the hair strands directly on the face contour. They are allowed to hang out, so the hairstyle looks even more casual.
