Apple Cider Vinegar: The Home Remedy for Healthy Hair

Apple cider vinegar is the miracle cure for healthy hair! It provides shine and helps against dandruff. We will show you how to use the home remedy.

Whether it’s against skin impurities, oily skin, cellulite or to remove calluses – apple cider vinegar is the multitasker in the area of skin care. However, this inexpensive home remedy has also proved its worth in the care of brittle, dull hair and a scaly, itchy scalp. What this natural product can do and how to use it, we explain to you here.

Apple cider vinegar for the hair – Effect

  • Apple cider vinegar cleans the hair more intensively than a conventional shampoo and removes even stubborn styling residues such as gel or hairspray.
  • Clogged pores are cleaned by the vinegar so that the hair can grow healthy again.
  • Apple cider vinegar stabilises the pH value of the hair and scalp, rinses the lime residues contained in tap water from the lengths and thus conjures up a silky shine in dull, brittle hair.
  • The acidity of the fruit vinegar helps to smooth the hair fibres and fill in gaps in the hair shaft. This prevents split ends and makes the hair more supple and easier to comb.
  • The acid contained in vinegar has a disinfecting effect and kills bacteria and fungi.
  • Apple vinegar also helps with dandruff and itchy scalp.

Apple cider vinegar against dandruff

Dandruff can be reduced super easy with apple cider vinegar.

You need these:

  • 1/4 litre apple cider vinegar

How to use the apple cider vinegar mix:

  2. Step: Now place the nettle leaves in a teapot and pour the hot apple cider vinegar over them. Meanwhile, wash your hair with a silicone-free shampoo.
  3. Step: Leave to infuse for about 15 minutes and rinse hair and scalp with the brew. An optimal effect is achieved by a light massage of the scalp. Do not wash hair again and do not rinse the apple cider vinegar mix! The smell of vinegar disappears after a short time.
