Skin Care: 13 Tips for Beautiful Skin

Rosy cheeks, fine pores, an even complexion: What do women who have beautiful skin actually do right? These 13 tips provide information.

What’s the secret? The secret of beautiful skin? Sure, the good genes are of course the optimal prerequisite. But there is undoubtedly one or two clever tricks you can use in everyday life to make your skin glow. From care tips to nutrition: Here are 13 tips for beautiful skin!

1. Deep care

A mask – specially tailored to the skin type – provides the skin with an abundance of care substances. Nice side effect: The effect is immediately visible, which is why you can apply a little more before a big performance. The active ingredients can be absorbed particularly well when the pores are open. So off into the bathtub and put on the mask!

2. Sun protection

It is undisputed: sun rays cause the skin to age and in the worst case can cause skin cancer. So if you regularly protect yourself against it, you are not only playing it safe, but also allowing your skin to age more wrinkle-free. It is best to ensure daily UV protection in day cream and/or make-up.

3. Massage

To get beautiful skin, you should massage your face more often. Before applying make-up, massage the whole face with a rich cream in small circles with your fingers for about three minutes. Then remove the excess cream with a paper towel. Now the skin is well supplied with blood, looks plumper and the make-up stays beautiful longer.

4. Low fat care!

With particularly nourishing formulations, caution is advised. Too much fat in the cream creates a good breeding ground for impurities, if blackheads are added to it, such as peanut, sesame or olive oil, pimples are virtually programmed. Wool wax (lanolin) as well as active agents which make the skin creamy (e.g. ethyl alcohol) or some emulsifiers which combine fat and water (e.g. PEG – polyethylene glycol) may also cloud the skin texture.

5. Bon appétit!

Vitamin A stimulates cell division and promotes the formation of elastic fibres. So carrots, Hokkaido pumpkin, broccoli and spinach prevent dry skin. Vitamin C and E are also friends of the skin, as they tighten the connective tissue. Therefore, eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as grains and nuts.

6. Less is more!

A porcelain complexion is also accessible for sensitive skin. For cleansing and care of sensitive skin the following applies: The simpler the care, the better. Because the fewer ingredients you apply to your skin, the less likely it is to react irritated. It makes sense to use a complete skin care range, because the ingredients are optimally coordinated. Good are those with soothing thermal water.

7. As little caffeine as possible!

Even though many studies now state that caffeine does not remove water from the body, it still has a strong acid-forming effect – and an overly acidic digestive system also has an effect on our skin. If you can’t manage a radical withdrawal, you should at least make sure you consume as little caffeine as possible.

8. Drink water

Yes yes, we already know, drinking a lot helps a lot. For the extra kick in the morning: Drink a glass of water with the juice of half a lemon on an empty stomach. This keeps the skin fresh and firm. Plus: the metabolism is also directly stimulated.

9. No Smoking!

Nicotine and other harmful substances in smoke constrict the blood vessels and inhibit blood circulation. The skin looks pale and ages faster. It is not without reason that smokers are often appreciated as older than they actually are.

10. Oxygen keeps you young

Anyone who breathes a lot of fresh air takes in oxygen not only through the lungs. 95 percent is inhaled, five percent is absorbed through our skin. The oxygen causes the cells to divide, which makes us look fresh and radiant. So why don’t you go for a long walk again?

11. Sleep well

At night the regeneration process of the cells runs at full speed. So your skin will thank you with a rosy complexion if you make sure you sleep regularly. Night creams with active ingredient complexes of amino acids, ginkgo, tiger grass or wheat proteins also help to remove lymph fluid. So you can say goodbye to the bags under your eyes while you sleep.

12. Exfoliate regularly

Horny scales make the skin look colourless and dull. An exfoliating treatment adapted to the respective skin type removes these flakes of skin without irritating the skin and stimulates the blood circulation. Use at least once a week.

13. Good mood

The best at the end: The skin is the reflection of the soul. The mental state can be reflected in the skin. So we are allowed to do everything that puts us in a good mood to get beautiful skin. Shopping, going for a walk, meeting with friends …
