  1. Phase: In the first 1 -2 weeks (maximum 4 weeks), you completely give up carbohydrates and focus on protein and vegetables. The aim is to replenish the vital substance stores and activate the mitochondria, so that the fat burning of the carbohydrates is better afterwards.
  2. Phase: According to Dr. Strunz, this phase is about eating “genetically correctly”. This means to rely on protein, fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds. In other words, all foods that our ancestors in the Stone Age ate. The Paleo diet sends its regards.
  3. Phase: After about one month you may eat carbohydrates again, even if in small amounts. Complex carbohydrates like rice or potatoes are preferable. Otherwise, you will maintain your healthy diet and follow this phase permanently.
